October Work Life & Well-being Bulletin

Can you feel it? Fall is in the air. We can see leaves starting to change colors all over town. We are greeted by cooler mornings and warm afternoons. Some might call this season perfect unless you have severe allergies. Our college students are feeling a bit more settled into their class schedules and routines. Hopefully, our campus employees are getting used to the new traffic patterns and volume.

Faculty Career Coaching Opportunities

August - September 2025 Work-Life & Well-Being Opportunities

As we continue to enjoy these last days of summer, we are reminded of the joys and opportunities that the sun brings to our lives such as beach and park visits, cookouts, family and friends’ gatherings, outdoor concerts and fairs, nature hikes and so much more. You still have time to get out and enjoy. We know the start of a new academic year can bring about a lot of emotions, planning, stress and activities. Remember the STAR approach to worry, stress and recentering. S-Stop, T-Take a breath, A-and, R-Relax.

May 2025 Work-Life Workshops

Hello Work-Life partner,Welcome May! We’ve been waiting on these sunny skies and May flowers. It’s amazing how something as simple as the sun setting around 8:30 p.m. can make you feel more motivated to take on extra projects and tasks. It’s interesting to consider how nature impacts our moods and energy. Once the sun sets, we tend to go into settle down and sleep mode. I hope you are getting some good peaceful sleep.
